Running on Empty

I can’t sleep. It’s early Monday morning which means I have very little time to recover from last week’s arduous tasks and conflicts. The weekend went by so quickly and I still have not caught up on sleep. The sun has not risen yet but assignments that need completion this week are already piling up. In this line of business, I don’t think I’ll ever run out of things to do. That can be an advantage but right now, I’m just tired and whiny.
Most of the work were completed last week but the conflicts that have recently emerged will take time to resolve. Huge deal.
I’m finally going to be bed to see if that helps a bit.
